Art and Music…from a Woman’s Perspective

Our March Art Salon presented An Evening of Art and Music by, for, and about Women, honoring Woman’s History Month.

Thank you to all who attended and participated in the success of this art salon featuring the extraordinarily mysterious and evocative paintings of Barbara Copanos and Sonia Lewis and the riveting vocal artistry of Karina Iglesias. Our party gathered under the canopy in the courtyard of the historic Stranahan House Museum for champagne and a deliciously artistic display of fruits and desserts sponsored by Water Mill Flowers and Events. As I expected, last Thursday evening consisted mostly of women (you men missed it) and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself as I watched from the fringes…naturally, I had to jump into the crowd periodically to experience the “rush,” but it was such a thrill to be on the outside observing “women celebrating women” and to view the world “…from a woman’s perspective.”

Congratulations Womanhood!
